>A new case fan is cheap – maybe 8 bucks, for a dual ball bearing 120 mm fan. If you have to have the lit diode, you can get them for about $18 apiece. All you have to do is open the computer case, unplug the old one. Unscrew four screws with a phillips head screwdriver, replace the old one with the new one, screw it in, plug it in, close the case, DONE! It has to be one of the simplest things you can do in a computer is replace a case fan. Front case fans are a little harder to get to. The face plate of the case can usually be pulled off with the jerk of a hand under the bottom of the case face plate. Then you can take the front one out, if need be. Make sure that the replacement fan you buy is DUAL BALL BEARING. it will last a lifetime but be maybe a buck or two more expensive.
