is there any difference between the ignition switch/lock on a left hand drive honda civic and a right hand one
my sister’s 1995 right hand drive honda civic was stolen in the uk recently and when sourcing replacement parts locally i was quoted approx. £300 for the ignition barrel and switch, all of which need replaced due to those charming joyriders, i can get one from the usa for £65, obviously for a left hand drive model, does anyone know if there is any difference between the two, or where i could find this out, ps, the charming little fellow has been caught and is due a few years punishment at her majesty’s pleasure, better still he lives in an area of belfast which is controlled by paramilitaries, so when he gets ‘outta jail’ his problems will only just be beginning, its hard to joyride when both kneecaps have been shot off lol, thanks in advance for any sensible answers,
Same spot USDM JDM and the UK the ingnition is all on the right side of the steering shaft the plugs might be diff. but can be pined to work good luck!
