Small Green
What is the name of the Mediterranean fruit resembling a small green plum?
We had some fruit while visiting Monaco in the Summer, which was delicious, but cannot find the name. It was green, about the size of a small plum or an apricot… no fuzz, very juicy and sweet. I have never seen it since Monaco, nor had I seen it before. Does anyone know what it could be?
There is a type of plum called Green Gage, that has a green skin and is that size. See the link.
If it is not a Green Gage plum or a guava, what kind of pit or seeds did it have? How large and how many per fruit?
